Melt Up is designed to be private by default. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app accesses and how that data is handled.
Information We Access
With your explicit permission, Melt Up reads health and fitness data from Apple Health, including active energy and related workout metrics required to calculate your live calorie chronometer.
How We Use Data
Health data is used only to provide app features, including:
- Calculating your calorie burn in real-time.
- Displaying visual calorie milestones.
- Syncing progress between iPhone and Apple Watch.
Data Storage and Sharing
- All calculations are performed locally on your device.
- Melt Up does not create user accounts.
- Melt Up does not sell or share your personal health data with third parties.
- Melt Up does not use your health data for advertising.
Third-Party Services
Melt Up does not rely on third-party analytics or advertising SDKs to process health data.
Your Choices
You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings. If permission is revoked, Melt Up will stop accessing that data.
Children's Privacy
Melt Up is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product or legal changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
